R.O.C.K. Camp is a fun opportunity for new students that aids in the transition from high school to college by introducing your student to new people, teaching about the University of Arkansas, and preparing them for life in Fayetteville.  Throughout each session, your student will be placed in small groups led by upper-class student mentors and have the opportunity to participate in many fun and engaging activities that will introduce them to campus culture, identify their strengths, help them set goals for the upcoming year, and get to know other new students.  The goal is to get your student comfortable and connected to the University community, giving them a jump-start on their college career. This jump-start provides the foundation needed for students to reach their ultimate goal of graduating from the University of Arkansas.

New Student & Family Programs hosts three different R.O.C.K. Camp experiences—R.O.C.K. Camp, R.O.C.K. Camp Adventure, and R.O.C.K. Camp Service. Each experience is unique in its own way, but has the same results in the end – setting your student up for success at the YOU of A!
